Kirk Sandall Infant School is a larger than average infant school with more than 300 pupils. It shares an executive headteacher and has a joint local governing board with the neighbouring Kirk Sandall Junior School. The school is proud to be part of Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Trust and has benefitted extensively from being part of a professional learning community which invests in both staff and students alike. The school community works together as a team and very much in partnership with the Junior School, to ensure that there is a seamless learning experience across the two schools.

The school has a strong connection with its parents and believes that ‘Together we achieve more!’ Kirk Sandall Infant School is a happy, safe, nurturing school where teaching aims to inspire and ensure each child achieves their full potential. We keep moving forward, opening new doors and learning new things, because we are curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths and teaching us new things.

Our commitment to excellence in education and learning and our partnership with parents and the local community extend beyond the school day to include a number of extra-curricular activities before and after school. We are a school which is committed to inclusion and the creation of a learning environment which supports excellence for all.
