See answer to section 2 above. I also spent 8½ years as a non-executive director of Humber NHS Foundation Trust, involved in the formation of the Foundation Trust. I also chaired its Audit Committee and Charitable Funds Committee.
In 2016 Archbishop Sentamu Academy (ASA) was placed in Special Measures by OfSted. I transferred all non-educational committees and work to the MAT board and focussed ASA board meetings solely on Teaching & Learning and Pupil Outcomes. Along with the vice-Chair, I organised “deep dive” days for trustees so that they could find out directly what was working well and not working well. In its 2018 inspection ASA emerged from SM and continues to make progress in the merged trust.
Along with one of my younger partners, I was responsible for my firm’s GDPR compliance procedures, data audits, etc.c.

I have been, and currently am, a member of various boards and I chair 2 of them. I was a trustee/director of Archbishop Sentamu Academy when it converted to a MAT and have seen the formation (and now merger) of a MAT from the inside
