West Road Primary - The Stone Age

As part of our Stone Age topic, we had some special visitors in school to take us back in time to the Neolithic period. Throughout the day, we learnt how Stone Age people prepared food, how they built their homes, what they used as weapons to hunt prehistoric beasts and so much more; we even had a go at making our own ’School Henge’. The children were fully immersed in the learning that took place and have taken away vast amounts of new knowledge to implement into their future learning.
