West Road - Different Decades

This half term, each phase studied a different decade as part of the history incentive. The children enjoyed listening to music from their decade and creating a dance to a chosen song. They also studied significant people from the past and how they made an impact in Britain. The children had a lot of discussion around the decade they were studying and had the opportunity to draw similarities and differences between then and now. Pictured is Year 3/4 looking very colourful and having lots of fun dressed in 1970s fashion.
